What You're Evaluating
KC already provides real-time dashboards, activity tracking, automated follow-ups, and audit-ready reports. This survey asks about three proposed AI enhancements layered on top of what exists.
The 3 AI pillars being proposed:
Pillar 1 — AI Reporting & Analysis: AI that generates dynamic compliance reports, writes narrative summaries, surfaces trends, and creates board-ready outputs from your existing data.
Pillar 2 — AI as a UI (KC Companion): A conversational AI panel built into KC — ask questions in plain English instead of navigating menus and filters.
Pillar 3 — Intelligent Requirements: AI that automatically determines the right compliance requirements for a worker based on their role, location, and regulations — reducing manual configuration.
Pillar 1 — AI Reporting & Analysis
Dynamic Insights & Reports
KC already has dashboards, risk matrices, and export-to-PDF/spreadsheet. This pillar adds an AI layer that interprets the data — writing narratives, spotting trends, and generating reports on demand.
Today: You view the Insights dashboard, manually interpret the data, and compile reports yourself. Proposed: AI analyses the data for you — e.g. "Compliance dropped 5% in Brisbane this quarter, driven by 12 expired police checks. Here's a summary and recommended actions."
How much time do you currently spend interpreting dashboard data and compiling reports?
Rate how valuable each AI reporting enhancement would be on top of what KC already provides:
AI-written narrative summaries for compliance reports (instead of manual write-ups)
Trend detection — AI flags when compliance rates shift and explains why
Predictive alerts — "14 police checks expire next month across 3 sites"
One-click board/exec report — generates a formatted deck or PDF from live data
Anomaly detection — flags unusual patterns (sudden spike in expirations, data gaps)
Cross-site benchmarking — "Perth is at 96%, Brisbane at 78% — here's the gap analysis"
Scheduled AI reports — auto-generate and email weekly/monthly snapshots
Pillar 2 — AI as a UI (KC Companion)
Conversational AI Panel
A chat panel built into the existing KC interface — ask questions, trigger actions, and get answers without navigating menus.
Today: You navigate to Insights → filter by site → read the Risk Matrix → manually export. Proposed: You type "Show me all workers in Sydney with expiring police checks" and get instant results. Or "Generate a Q1 board report for aged care sites" and it's built in seconds.

Pillar 3 — Intelligent Requirements
AI-Driven Compliance Requirements
KC already lets you configure compliance requirements per role. This pillar proposes AI that automatically determines, updates, and adapts requirements based on role, location, and regulatory changes.
Today: Admins manually configure compliance requirements using the Activity Library — selecting which checks apply to each role. Proposed: AI suggests: "This worker is a nurse in Queensland aged care — they need: Police Check, NDIS Screening, Flu Vaccination, Working with Children. 2 of 4 already verified." Requirements auto-update when regulations change.
